|
|
because i switched from gcc 2.95 - gcc 3.2 there was told me to do a emerge -e system and a emerge -e world and so I did but when I give the emerge -ep world commando next error appears.
Code: | emerge -ep world
These are the packages that I would merge, in order.
Calculating world dependencies \
emerge: there are no masked or unmasked ebuilds to satisfy ">=net-p2p/gift-0.10.0_pre020527". |
Now is this a kind of weird because i did not install gift whit emerge but i did an cvs install and even after removing that the error still comes up.
Is there a way to fix this error or atleast get arround it? |

giftcurs-0.5.2 has a dependency for it (newer version depend on gift-cvs). gift-0.10.0_pre.... doesn't exist anymore and the ebuild is therefor incorrect, but still newer versions should be installed.
Anyway do you have giftcurs installed????, maybe something's up with the cached lists /var/cache/edb/dep/*, try removing it, also see if you're running latest portage (think 2.0.45-r1).
