Hi,
what about support for SUNPCi cards? Do you know them? It's (nearly) a full computer on a single PCI card. I've got a model "Penguin" with an AMD K6 400MHz processor and 128MB RAM, sound and usb. There's a driver for Solaris 8, but I haven't seen one for Linux.
Bye.

most of us know what sunPCI cards are, some of us even have one. I've got the same model you have in my SunBlade 1000.
Unfortunately, there will -never- be non-solaris drivers for these cards.
If you've used one in solaris, you will understand why. The software to interface with them (well above the driver level) would also need to be ported, which would be an enormous task.... _________________ -Tim Smith |

Its a bummer that they will never be ported over. I think it would have been great to have support, since then I could have easily abondoned Solaris for Gentoo on my Ultra
Cheers!
