I've been trying to get my 32MB AGP ATI Radeon to work as the framebuffer device for quite some time now with no luck. Even the supposedly safe choice of video=radeonfb:640x480-8@60 gives me a blank screen. Right now, I am limited in XFree86 to 8bpp because I have to boot using video=ofonly. Has anyone gotten the radeon framebuffer to work? I've got a 17" Apple Studio Display (the CRT) and a 667MHz G4.
