Hi everybody,

my problem is that SOMETHING has crashed in my filesystem (maybe nothing important) after scanning and repairing my disk with chkdsk. I found file segments in "lost+found" after this check. To me it seems like that some code has been damaged, and i dont know where exactly.

Now rebooting brings me up this message twice:

"SIOCSIFMTU: NO SUCH A DEVICE"

Before there was an other failure:

"/SBIN/RC:" "FCONFIG NOT FOUND"

Ok this problem was very simple to solve: I created a link /etc/fconfig to /etc/ifconfig, eh voila the message disapeared.

BUT WHAT CAN I DO WITH THE FIRST MESSAGE?

AND WHAT IS TO DO GENERALLY IF THIS HAPPENS AGAIN AND AGAIN AFTER HD SCAN?
