Hi,
Anyone used an open-source program to build and maintain websites or homepages? What programs are out there for this sort of thing? I recently came across XWeb, but know nothing about it. Is it any good?
Regards,
Nayan. |

I don't do much webdesigning anymore, but I know there's one in the portage tree called SCREEM (Site CReating and Editing EnvironmenMent)
and do an 'qpkg -g net-www' and emerge -s on programs which seem usefull |

Thanks guys,
blufish and quanta I knew about, and had already emerged them. They are just html editors.
I am thinking of proper web-site design and maintenance. I shall check out SCREEM.
Out of interest, do any of you know what tools gentoo uses to build the www.gentoo.org site? It's an example of a pretty good site. _________________ Regards,
