Intel just released their new and shiny compiler for x86/ia64. Since I wanted the latest and greatest and no ebuild was available yet, I modified the ebuild from icc 6.0-r1. If anyone is interested the ebuild is available here http://www.freebench.org/icc7.0.tar.gz.
Note that this is my first attempt at creating an ebuild and I have actually no idea of what I am doing so use with care. It works for me atleast. |

Interesting... Does it share similar command line options with gcc? |

Hi,
I don't think so as every tweaked compiler-option in the ebuilds would brake if you used icc...

What if we could tell the ebuilds not to use any optimization flags but those we specify?
