java-pkg_jar-from changed?

It seems that java-pkg_jar-from function has changed. If I use this
java-pkg_jar from commons-lang

I get the following error
ln: `/usr/share/commons-lang/lib/commons-lang.jar' and '/usr/share/commons-lang/lib/commons-lang.jar' are the same file.


Can someone please tell me what changed and what needs to be fixed? This seems to have broken a lot of ebuilds.
