|
|
Hi,
I've put Code: | PORTDIR_OVERLAY=/usr/local/portage | in my /etc/make.conf. Now I have put an ebuild script downloaded from bugs.gentoo.org in it's category under my overlay dir. However when I do Code: | # ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge -s <package> | I do not get any results - any ideas? |

Could you provide a link to the actual ebuild that you downloaded? _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |

Yes, it's httrack, the version 2 ebuild. Could this be the problem?
Thanks,

If it is httrack try pavuk it does a very similar thing (web spider/mirroring tool) see https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10632
for the ebuild(s), if you have any problems with the second one (mine) let me know. |

All I can say is "works for me". I downloaded that ebuild, saved it as /usr/local/portage/net-www/httrack/httrack-3.21.ebuild, and: Code: | $ ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge -s httrack
Searching...
[ Results for search key : httrack ]
[ Applications found : 1 ]
* net-www/httrack
Latest version available: 3.21
Latest version installed: [ Not Installed ] |

Duh, found this at the very bottom (after several blank lines) of my make.conf:
Code: | # kportage added these lines:
PORTDIR_OVERLAY="" |
Thanks for your help, sorry for wasting your time... |
