This is a good point. Instead of posting a URL, I'll simply use the secret knock: Do you have stairs in your house?
edit: this is in reference to forums other than the alternate otw ones. _________________ What if we built a large, wooden badger? |

This project seems very interesting! I have been wanting to get a nice projector so I could have my parents watch movies at home with a big screen. But they are so expensive. This seems to be a very creative way out! Thanks! _________________ blog | homepage | alias | prompts |

Not only are they expensive to begin with but did you realize that even an $800 projector can have a 200-500 dollar range for the bulb and need to be replaced (depending on how often you watch) every 1-2 years.
These build your own projectors have a much cheaper bulb potentially better resolution and longer life. Plus you get to say I built it hehe. |

Did you build one? I wanna have a go, but I need to know how easy it was. I live in europe, so I'm going to have to adapt to 230 V wiring. _________________ PKA Cuber

I am helping my friend build one now. When his is done I am building my own. His lenses are on backorder he is doing the cheaper version. I am going to do the pro version that has a longer throw on the lense so the projector can be further away. I will try to post back with some results as soon as I have them. |
