back to it's defualt layout. Seeems I ummmm messed the tool bars a bit :-)

Delete (or move/ rename) the following in your ~ directory

.kde .kde2 .kde3 .kderc

It's brute force, but it worked for me once!

Not that good an idea, as you would loose all your settings. try a
Code:
find ~/.kde3 -name \*konq\*

and have a look at the config (i.e. not icons :-)) files that are found,
edit or remove the appropriate one.
