For some reason logging out of KDE never works the first time. I have to do it a second time in order for it to work. This is true whether I choose logout, restart, or shutdown. Any ideas? |

are you by any chance running kpager? i had the same exact problem you had and found that once i stopped using kpager, logout works right the first time. |

No I don't think I'm running kpager. I've got a fairly standard kde install. What is kpager? |

kpager is a pager app that displays thumbnails of all your desktops, and works much like Enlightenment's pager. you can find kpager in the "Utilities" under KDE start. but if you run this, you might have to log out 3 times instead of 2. |
