|
|
I'm trying to use hotway to get mail from my hotmail account.
I set up hotway and it starts normally, I use port 1100 and put that in my services.
Now when I try and use fetchmail to get the mail via hotway it tells me:
POP3 connection to hotmail.com failed: Connection refused
fetchmail: Query status=2 (SOCKET)
I have no idea where to solve this, anyone got any hints?
Thanks in advance for any type of info on this subject. |

I have never used hotway, but have you tried Gotmail?
(emerge -s gotmail)
I used to use that a while ago to snag my hotmail and put it onto my machine. |

| Thanx, that works without any problem so I'll just use that. |

Just a friendly word about those tools..
As hotmail changes it's interface (it does so occasionally) it will 'break' those tools.
So, if you notice it not working, check out hotmails interface... also, check for any updates on the gotmail website if that happens. They're usually pretty quick about fixing that type of thing.

That's the gotmail website. |
