CDROM is 2004.2, image gentoo-2.4.
KB works with OpenBoot and SILO. Only USB keyboard is supported on this platform and the KB is a Logitech "Internet Navigator".
I ask for gentoo-2.4 dokeymap("dokeymap" is so startup halts with list from usb-related drivers on screen). There are normal messages from usb, usbdevfs, hub, usb-ohci, usb-ohci, hiddev, hid, hid-core. All four USB ports are recognized. A USB Mouse is recognized, but there are no messages that mention the keyboard.
Linux shows no console response to typing on the KB.
I'd be very grateful to hear from anyone who can offer advice and assistance. |
