hi guys
i have problems mounting my ntfs partition created by winxp
i have an NTFS support enabled in kernel, do i need to have anything else besides that to have it working?
my /etc/fstab looks like this:
Code: |
/dev/hda1 /mnt/winxp ntfs noauto,ro 0 0
|
i've just seen such somwhere here in a forum, what is the meaning of /mnt/winxp? should this directory be on the partition or is it where i'll get all the folders of my partition in the root directory?
well i can't see it in the root directory, what am i doing wrong? help |

Acid: As root, you'll need to create the directory /mnt/winxp. That is referred to as a mount point. Until you run mount winxp, you'll see nothing in it. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |
