Is there any good FTP Client?
I'm using mc most of the time.. but it's not advanced enought.
I have used gFTP (or something like that), but that one is very unstable
I need something which can do most of the thinks FlashFXP can do in windows
Thanks

Well Deuh !!!
RedHat sux (I used it 3 years ago. Actualy it was my first linux distro I installed. I found it far from handy to use, cause in those days you had to compile everything by yourself, almost no packages available etc... , but still, they always use unstable packages, because they want to be as far up to date as possible, if that's already possible in an ordinary distro)
Anyway, I use gFTP for a long time, and it has always been sweet Nice gfx and nice proggy. When I'm using a console, I use ncftp though. Very handy proggy 2, but no fxp support.
If you want fxp in console, I suggest you use profxp v.2 (has nice colors & perl based .. or write one yourself |

OK folks, talking about illegal activities is NOT going to be tolerated on these forums. Any posts referencing such activities will be summarily deleted. (inlcuding the one in this thread that I've already deleted)

You mean the ability to pull username and pw from a url?

Um...mozilla, konqueror, netscape, galeon, opera, etc. If hotcopy is all you're looking for, then just use your web browser.

As mentioned before, ncftp is a very good command line ftp client (for those interested in not leaving the term )
It also has some nice features for shell scripting. |

| I am looking for an ftp program. All i need it to do is to allow me to upload things to an ftp site. I wa looking through the ebuild packages packages and found quite a few options but I am not sure what route to go. I would prefer it be gui based but will go with command line if need be. Thanks. |
