|
|
I have a small computer and I would like to use it to read my mail from a pop-3 account and send it to another ISP-account. This because I have no cable-internet so I can't fix an MX record on my domain/server...
Any idea's ?

According to the website is runs under X. Did you ever run X on a Classic Pentium with 64 Mb of memory ?
What I would like to have is a simple proggie what can read/send pop/smtp mail. Cant I use sendmail or postfix for this ?

just go for postfix and fetchmail.
fetchmail takes your mail from the server, and postfix sends it. that should keep you happy _________________ Hmm.. Of course, these are MY opinions - likely to be just as flawed as anyone else's. Um, really, I guess you should assume everyone's speaking out of some external influence. Believe in whatever makes sense to you. |
