well to answer the question thats pretty normal ... load avg is basicly the amount of prossess trying to use the cpu then avged by the time frame 1min/5min/15min

so basicly it's saying that of the prossesses alive on the machine ... there are 0.32 per min 0.07 per 5 min and 0.02 per 15 min actualy useing the cpu

now having said that highest load avg I have seen was around 700 ... and that was me messing around with a bash script ment to crash a machine {it was my own box}

Well depending on how far you want to take it you could probably get by with only three virtual terms. I think you can comment them out in /etc/inittab under the section named #TERMINALS if my memory serves correctly. This ought to get you a minute piece of ram freed.

well ... if you wanted tho it's not needed ... if your not going to be useing all 6 of the terminals or not loggin into the computer through a pysical<sp?> terminal you could take out all but one of the agettys {comment them out in the inittab}

but they really don't use the cpu till someone trys logging in on the m and ushaly only a undetectable blip

but other wise thats a VERY clean ps list

you do have cron running ... but I would recomend leaving that going on all systems ... even a firewall cause it comes in handy to do clean up work that you might not be logged in for if set up right
