hi,
how can i give more than one person the ownership of a file? (if at all possible) "abraham,peter' doesn't work.

You can't, but you can create a new group, put both users in that group, and change the group that owns the file to that group. |

Assuming you're not trolling, there is information about enabling ACLs in ext2 and ext3 filesystems at http://acl.bestbits.at/, and nothing extra needs to be done to use them in XFS. There have been some reports of people that had some tough-to-diagnose troubles after enabling ACLs - check the archives for details. _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |
