I made an ebuild for the latest mozilla nightly--just by modifying the mozilla-1.1-r1.ebuild file. All it takes is changing the SRC_URI to:
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/mozilla-source.tar.gz
Then you can do this:
Code: |
export USE="-crypt"
export DISABLE_XFT="1"
emerge mozilla-nightly
|
It doesn't seem to work with crypt or xft.
I'm running it right now .
Mozilla 1.3a

I'm running Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021114 (14 NOV nightly build) and have both crypto and xft enabled. I downloaded the enigmail and ipc sources and compiled them per the instructions here. XFT, SSL and Enigmail are all running fine.
I did compile this manually using these flags in my mozilla/.mozconfig file:
export CFLAGS="-march=athlon-xp -m3dnow -msse -mmmx -mfpmath=sse -O3 -pipe"
export CXXFLAGS="-march=athlon-xp -m3dnow -msse -mmmx -mfpmath=sse -O3 -pipe"
ac_add_options --prefix=/opt/mozilla
ac_add_options --enable-crypto
ac_add_options --disable-tests
ac_add_options --disable-debug
ac_add_options --enable-optimize
ac_add_options --enable-xft
ac_add_options --enable-toolkit-gtk
ac_add_options --enable-default-toolkit=gtk
ac_add_options --disable-toolkit-qt
ac_add_options --disable-toolkit-xlib
ac_add_options --disable-toolkit-gtk2 _________________ Erich J. Wahl
