I have been using btdownloadgui.py to download torrents. They're usually pretty small with an occasional ISO like whenever FreeBSD releases come out. My torrents keep sticking at 99.9% and I have to close and restart them before they will re-download the segment properly. It's eating up my bandwidth; for instance, a few days ago, I opened a 50MB torrent, and after a day, I had downloaded 8GB. Ridiculous. Is this an issue with amd64 python + bydownloadgui.py or something else? Thanks. |

Are you using bittorrent (the program, not the network)? Maybe try bittornado, mldonkey or azureus. As you seem to prefer commandline, I would recommend bittornado with the -X use flag. |

I think that the btwhatever.py scripts are BitTornado. |

Check ctorrent. It's a small command line bittorrent client written in c. |
