I've just noticed this, but it seems that whenever I try to select search results from just one category, it ignores me and selects them from all the categories. For instance, searching by my username with the category Assistance turns up results in Gentoo Chat, Gentoo Forums Feedback, OTW, and so on. I don't think this is a phpBB bug, as it works properly on my (2.0.10) forum, and on the Keenspot forums, which are 2.0.6 like this one.
Has anyone else noticed this one, or am I the only one who wants to use this feature?

Indeed. Users didn't use this feature. That's why rac disabled it a long time ago. (~1 year?)
