Hola,
Estoy tratando de hacer funcionar la tarjeta wireless (Intel Pro 2200BG) de mi portátil Acer, y el otro día emergí los drivers ipw2200 y todo fue bien aparentemente, hasta que intenté probar si iba con el portátil de un amigo, y al intentar ponerla en modo Ad-Hoc:

Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :
SET failed on device eth1 ; Operation not supported.

Entonces decidí probar con los drivers ndiswrapper. Todo fue bien pero no consigo hacer que no me cargue los módulos de ipw2200:

¿Cómo puedo hacer para que utilice los drivers de ndiswrapper en vez de ipw2200?

a fecha de hoy [version 0.8] los drivers ipw2200 no soportan ad-hoc, aunque lo incorporaran en futuras versiones 
con ndiswrapper tambien funciona la tarjeta, aunque no tengo ni idea de si funcionara el modo ad-hoc.. echa un vistazo a ESTE post a ver
