Some guy has been calling my cell in the early morning hours and waking me up. I didn't care at first, but he just recently left a message in my voice mail saying my name. So now i want to know who this deuche is. Does anyone know of any free cell phone reverse lookups? _________________ Full House sucked. |

Phone your service provider and complain if your bothered by it - otherwise i'd just switch it off at night.
Unless you've posted your mobile number on the net or something, it's proberbly one of your mates dicking around. _________________ Not Y3K compliant

Id rather find out who it is, it's much more fun screwing with people.

Tried that already, it doesn't work on cells.

It's against the law to reverse DNS a cell... (well sort of). If you have a good reason to - say he made a death threat then local authority can help out. But because a cell phone number is 'personal' or 'private' there's not much you can do.
On the otherhand like an IP address you can narrow down from which network they are calling from (IE: you can get as close as city and state.) |

Have you tried asking the cell phone company? If its one of their's, and it isn't an unlisted number, they'll probably cough up the owner's name.
Or, you could complain, and they may call the person about harassment (which would be funny). _________________ Safety is my gaol.

Google it.
Not kidding. (Although I'm not sure if this works for non-Landline phone numbers...) _________________ ~~ Peter: Brony, GNU/Linux geek, caffeine addict, and Free Software advocate.

A google search yields only pay sites for reverse cell lookups. This tells me that it can be done, but still the question remains....how? _________________ Full House sucked. |

The pay sites probably have some company or law enforcement insiders or something. _________________ Meh. |
