I'm rather glad about gentoo-sources-r4, no more acpi-error messages during booting, and also the sound now works on my vaio

just one thing: acpid doesn't start, complaining as follows:

acpid: this kernel does not support proper event file handling.

Is there something know to be broken with acpi or acpid ? has anyone got -r4 with acpid running?
