guys i need some help. i have the 2.4.20-pre11 kernel, the nubus patch for that kernel version, and a prebuilt vmlinux 2.4.20-pre11 nubus kernel image, and a ramdisk that is the gentoo install. i need to combine the kernel and the ramdisk into one file to be able to boot the install via the nubus kernel. i can't quite figure out how to do this. i've found the "objcopy" command, and this article... which explains something similar i think. If anyone has any idea how this could be accomplished, or some links for me to read up on, plz send them to me. this is an interesting issue.

Why do you need the ramdisk anyway?
