allright i went ot nvidia' and via's website they both dont have drivers for gentoo just mandrake, suse, red flag, and red hat. what do i do. get the source code or md5 sum and then use them ???????????? _________________ Did you know that mentos comes in three different flavors?

Both the nvidia kernel mod and glx driver are in the portage tree... least are on mine...

emerge nvidia-glx

I have an ATI card but im guessing that emerging the driver will bring down the kernel mod as a dependancy.
