Not true (re: nforce and fans).
I have the ASUS A8N-SLi Premium. No fan on the northbridge, just nice quiet passive cooling.
I believe ABit has one or two MoBos w/o fans, too.

| I am having the same problem with the K8-800T MB it wil llet me into the Bios to change things that need to be changed but when i save and exit it will not reboot. So i have to clear the Cmos to get back into the system. And when i try and not go into the Bios and just go straight to install it starts the install part of the process but then stops screen goes black the i have to start all over again and clear the Cmos... Happens every time.. Does that sound like the problem u were having? If so let me know and what else to do to flash the bios... |
