PSU/Mobo question..

I just bought a Hiper PSU while I wait for my Enermax to get sorted. The AUX cable is too short.

Here's a tricky question:

Can I use a PCI-E connector (three +12V, three ground) on a 4 pin AUX socket? It fits and has +12V and ground in the right places, so..

Never mind. I decided to spend an extra 40 quid and avoid voiding a 3 year warranty on a 60 quid PSU.
