Somehow I've managed to screw up SILO and now I need to boot the Live CD with Raid-1 support. I've already got an array set up and the cd booted, I really just need to be able to mount the array. Simply modprobing raid1 and going to mount /dev/md0 does not work. Also these are set up as Linux Autodetect Raid, so if there is anyway to get the boot CD to autodetect the raid setup that would be fantastic. Otherwise I'm kind of stuck, and its a bit of an emergency |

Problem solved. Aparently you just have to figure out how you had your /etc/raidtab set up and them raidstart /dev/md0.. and then you are able to mount your raid device! Ahh.. well it is Monday |

I had a different problem, but can now fix it due to your own reply to this message.
Could you do us a favour & mark this thread as solved, to help the rest of us in the future.
"Aparently you just have to figure out how you had your /etc/raidtab set up and them raidstart /dev/md0.. and then you are able to mount your raid device!" - and remember to keep this file somewhere safe like in a memory card specifically for this purpose... _________________ Some say "The glass is half empty",
