I think that many users many of us may help you on spreading images with bittorrent but now it isn't possible because http://linuxtracker.org doesn't work and the ftp-site ftp://ftp.unito.it/ doesn't also. So when you can get those to work I for example can try to help you tro spread the amd64-image with bittorrent. _________________ If you think I'm a n00b then you just think I'm a noob.

Let's say, that's kindda sad, when users are raping literally your bandwidth.
My stats, for example: Uploading on Bittorrent the new rr64-3.0a0 @ 1200Kb/s, but downloading @30

Hi lxnay,
I already asked this a while ago, but I wondered whether you could add EVMS to the livecd?
Also, the last release didn't create device nodes for md/dm (/dev/mdX), but I have yet to try 3.0b0...
Keep up the good work! |

just curious - is it possible to do a emerge -u world with this distro?
I get this if I try
| Code: | wolfden gentoo # emerge -u world
Calculating world dependencies /
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "sys-kernel/lxnay-sources".
(dependency required by "media-libs/alsa-lib-1.0.11_rc2" [ebuild])
!!! Problem resolving dependencies for gnome-base/eel
!!! Depgraph creation failed.

remove sys-kernel/lxnay-sources from your world file (/var/lib/portage/world), or create an overlay with lxnay-sources. Should get rid of this error, though I'm not sure this will make this install "updatable".
Question is, why do this on a livecd?? It'll probably cost you a lot of time and when you remove the cd, that time is gone... _________________ If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit. |

Ixnay, could you please include a2ps & tcsh in your next release of SabayonLinux (if not already done) ?
this would make it possible for me (and other Brother printer users too) to use SabayonLinux as a fully functional Emergency Linux Desktop with which you at least can print with Brother printers (or even scan)
... just in case all my harddisks die
I just tried 3.26 but it didn't want to print (I installed the printer driver manually), which shows that usually tcsh or a2ps is missing / needed
Many many thanks to your Project & thanks in advance
I'm looking forward to your next release _________________ Unofficial minimal livecd x86/amd64 w/reiser4+truecrypt (by Neo2)

thanks man, you're the best
finally I have a fully functional rescue-system (printing, scanning ? [not tested yet], writing, surfing, ...)
you're saving me loads of time, this would have cost me years of development
do you have a banking account (BIC / IBAN number) to which I can transfer some cash? (further info via pm) _________________ Unofficial minimal livecd x86/amd64 w/reiser4+truecrypt (by Neo2)
