the Resolution problem

hmmmm I have a problem with my resolution ....

I have a nvidia video card I installed nvidia drivers I have a 17 inch monitor...

this is how my /etc/X11/XF86Config is ...

I switch a bigger resolution like 1152x864 but I get only 1024x768 and 800x600

Well if you were able to get 1152x864 before on this monitor you should check those two option

HorizSync 31.5 - 50.0
VertRefresh 40-90

Look at your monitor specification and make sure those setting are good. It seems a little bit off but I could be wrong.

well I have dtk computer 17 ' monitor....

I searched google everywere but nothing....

before one year I had redhat installed and there I can have a bigger resolutions ...

I tought there are any detection tools for it
