Thinking of selling some stuff on ebay to get a new laptop.
I've got the following
2 x Ultra 10's with 440MHz, 512MB ram, 9GB hd and Creator 3d
1 x Ultra 2 with either dual 300 or 400, I can't remember I'm at work atm but I think they are 300's, 512MB ram and 2x36GB scsi drives
1 x D130 w/ 3x36GB scsi
1 x Sun Blade 100 w/ 550, 1GB ram 17GB drive? (could be wrong on the size)
And a couple pci proc cards.
Also have a few Symbios scsi and QFE cards and some 36GB scsi drives.
What do you all think, could I get enough out of these to get a laptop? Any priceing ideas?
Thx, |

I have sold (and Bought) Sun equipment on Ebay periodically and it seems that pricing is very erratic. Sometimes it seems that bidding is crazy and you get way more than you want and sometimes nobody seems to want this stuff, just my opinion.
After pricing laptops for graduation presents I will tell you that they seem to be giving the things away, HP, IBM, Dell all seem to be having real good specials in hopes of capturing the back to school market. Getting a decent laptop with that equipment should not be a problem. |
