I compiled kernel 2.4.26-gentoo-r6 with genkernel.
After booting the system reboots after about a minute. It just reboots without shutdown.
I compiled one time with mostly all kernel options off and then it didn't reboot but I got some errors.
Hopefully somebody knows what option could cause the reboot. |

Sounds like you compiled for the wrong cpu type. Check the chost and cflags in your /etc/make.conf and the cpu type in the kernel config file .config in /usr/src/linux/ _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved.
