I'm trying to set up an apache web server with authentication against a Windows 2003 Active Directory server on a Sun Ultra5. I've been having loads of trouble getting the LDAP authentication to work with apache2 so I decided to try apache 1.3. Then I noticed mod_auth_ldap is masked on the sparc64 platform. Has anyone had any luck with this or know why it may be masked?

I haven't seen any bugs on it. Chances are the only reason it is masked is because no one has played with it.
