Morning,

I recently installed a Matrox G400DH. Everything works fine with 2 monitors.
I now connected my TV to the 2. head in order to watch videos. But I wasn't able to get a clear picture on TV, everything is blurred. I set up matroxfb & i2c in the kernel, connected /dev/fb1 to the 2. head
Code:
matroxset -f /dev/fb1 -m 2
I tried several fb-modes from /etc/fb.modes.PAL (I have a PAL-TV:)). But no mode works for me. The different settings for /dev/fb1
Code:
matroxset -f /dev/fb1 -o 1/2/128
didn't help either.

Does anyone know working fb-modes for PAL-TV's? Or at least a tool which helps creating/adjusting fb-modes?

Greetings, Advo

matroxset is a tool to activate TV-out and set output mode for Matrox Multihead cards. It comes with MPlayer or can be obtained from http://platan.vc.cvut.cz/ftp/pub/linux/matrox-latest/.

I still haven't found a working fb-mode. Any help?
