creating gkrellm plugins

has anyone had experience with this? i am wanting to create something similar to the toolbar in fluxbox so i can just get rid of it on the flux desktop. i googlized and couldnt find anything useful on how to program plugins. any ideas?

There are sources for demo plugin as well.

And looking at other plugins sources might be helpfull I guess, after all this IS Open Source :-)
