Uh, okay, I wanted to try out a nice terminal emulator, and I've heard good things abount aterm. Here's how I'm running it:
Code: | aterm -bg black -fg beige -fn vga -sh 90 -tr -sl 10000 -si -sk -sr |
You can see that I'm running it transparently with 90% shading. (-tr -sh 90)
I have it set up as a fluxbox menu item. However, if I open ten aterms (not normal usage), around 3 or 4 out of ten start up with a black background (or whatever -bg is set to). If I "pretend resize" the window (grab the lower-right corner widget, move it around, but don't actually change the window size), the terminal will appear as expected. If I remove the shading switch I don't experience this. Has anyone else found this? |
