I ran through the whole installation without any problems until I get to yaboot. After configuring yaboot the way I wanted it I tried to run:
mkofboot -v
I would get this as error message:
mkofboot: /dev/hda2: No such file or directory
mkofboot: /dev/nvram: No such file or directory
mkofboot: Warning: nvram will not be updated
I tired to run "mac-fdisk /dev/hda" to make sure I had picked the right partition as my bootstrap, but it said that drive could not be found. Seeing not much light at the end of the tunnel I unmounted and rebooted. Now I get the folder with question mark inside and then my powerbook boots Gentoo installer off the CD. I now can run "mac-fdisk /dev/hda" without problems but I don't know how to fix the damage I probably caused.
Can anyone help me out on this one? |
