I have tested this i can work fine with monodevelop if i enter a x session as root.
if i enter session with user, when i maximize mono explodes!!! i have emerged the last pakage of mono. (in x user, if i su or still user mono don't maximize.)
i have notice that if i resize in vertical mono don't explode, only get crash if i resize in horizontal way
I know that are many people with the same problem, does any one solved this problem in monodevelop ????
Problem solved with monodevelop-0.5

I have the same problem. If i start it in a terminal I get this:

/usr/bin/monodevelop: line 42: 32289 Killed mono --debug ./MonoDevelop.exe $@

Also, it's not only when you resize it vertically. If it is in the minimal horizontal size, I can resize the vertical to the maximum. Likewise, if I have the minimal vertical size, I can resize the horizontal to the max.
Of course, full screen doesn't work either.
If anyone needs more info, please ask.
