I've installed the ACPI daemon and it works fine.
Now I want to logout from KDE when pressing the power button (same as if I would press the logout button from the KDE panel) and wonder what command lies behind that button? |

CTRL-ALT-DELETE brings up the logout dialogue for me. All you then need is to press enter...
Don't know if this helps though. |

Why do I need the first URL for my problem? The second URL does not cover KDE at all...
I know how to setup acpid and it is working... |

First link snook in by an error
Was to be a link to how you could catch button pushes in ACPI and assign commands. Can't find it again. Searched in Google. You could try to find it.
After that, assuming you know how to assign the commands to the power button, you could just ask the KDE developers what command is run by CTRL-ALT-DEL in KDE. Might be found with ps? |
