I uninstalled freecraft by running
| Code: | | emerge -C freecraft |
But now when I do
I get this

[ebuild N F ] games-strategy/freecraft-1.18-r3 |
Running only
doesn't bring up freecraft.
I have run depclean and deleted the freecraft data in /usr/share. What else do I need to do to get it totally off my system?

It got rid of the program, but portage wants to reinstall it when I try to update. So, my guess is.. there's something else that needs to be unmerged as well.

Try
That may show something... or you could have something else installed that depends on freecraft. Look up the qpkg command, that should enable you to check up on that, I can't remember how to do it though. |

I found it. Somehow I missed freecraft-fcmp.
Problem solved.
