I uninstalled freecraft by running
Code:
emerge -C freecraft

But now when I do
Code:
emerge -uDp world

I get this
Code:
Calculating world dependencies ...done!
[ebuild  N F  ] games-strategy/freecraft-1.18-r3

Running only
Code:
emerge -up world

doesn't bring up freecraft.

I have run depclean and deleted the freecraft data in /usr/share. What else do I need to do to get it totally off my system?

It got rid of the program, but portage wants to reinstall it when I try to update. So, my guess is.. there's something else that needs to be unmerged as well.

Try

Code:
emerge -p depclean

That may show something... or you could have something else installed that depends on freecraft. Look up the qpkg command, that should enable you to check up on that, I can't remember how to do it though.

I found it. Somehow I missed freecraft-fcmp.

Problem solved.
