I have a Grafite IMac DV 400, I have downloaded both the 2004.0 and the 2004.1 disks and both won't load the network driver. I think that I need tulip but it is not on eiter of the CD's. I have tried to use sungem, gmac, and a couple of others that I found on this fourm but none work. Where is Tulip?

My iMac 400 DV SE uses sungem (I think) and it works without any trouble. The livecd loaded the right driver at boot. I had to add support for Sun GEM when compiling the kernel (2.6.1-benh1), so make sure you do that.

my 2004.1 CD dosent come with any network modules for some reason, maybe I will try to download another Image and try it. if I use the 2004.0 then it comes with all the modules except for the tulip. I tried Sungem and then I went and tried to bring it up "/etc/init.d/eth0 start" or something like that. I have it writen down, but it comes up and says that it cannot bring up the device because there is no support for it AKA - No Module that is working for it.
