I've emerged, compiled, and installed crypto-sources. But losetup -e aes -k 512 -P sha512 /dev/loop0 data always produces "ioctl: LOOP_SET_STATUS: Invalid argument". So I thought perhaps emerging cryptoapi would help, but its ebuild fails, complaining about how my kernel isn't patched correctly. Hints appreciated.

Hmm, AFAIK the maximum keysize for aes is 256 b, but I
don't know, if that is the reason for the error...
