this really sucks. i have a gnome-only laptop. when i issue a
emerge gnomemeeting -p
i get the following:
These are the packages that I would merge, in order.
Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild N ] net-nds/openldap-2.0.25-r2
[ebuild N ] x11-libs/qt-3.0.5-r2
[ebuild N ] kde-base/kde-env-3-r2
[ebuild N ] kde-base/arts-1.0.3
[ebuild N ] dev-lang/nasm-0.98.34
[ebuild N ] media-libs/libsdl-1.2.4.20020601
[ebuild N ] dev-libs/pwlib-1.3.3
[ebuild N ] net-libs/openh323-1.9.3
[ebuild N ] net-im/gnomemeeting-0.93.1
and that even if i issue: USE="-kde -qt" emerge gnomemeeting -p
so what the hell is causing this? kde or qt don't even appear in the ebuild! _________________ Linux is a wigwam - no Windows, no Gates, Apache inside |

One of the other packages requires Qt. I think the path is arts->kde-env->qt. Try adding "-arts" to your USE. |
