I'm running Gentoo 1.4rc1 with KDE 3.0.3 and mozilla was working great. However, I was having some file inport issues with Koffice so I thought I'd give OpenOffice a try. Well 26 hours latter OpenOffice is finally compiled (AMD K6-2 500) and it seems to work just fine. However, now Mozilla hangs whenever I hit a sight with java. If I disable java in Mozilla it works great again, but naturally I get all kinds of pop ups asking me to install java-vm. The only error I get is on the console:
LoadPlugin: fiald to initialize shared library /opt/blackdown-jdk-1.3.1/jre/plugin/i386/mozilla/javaplugin_oji.so [/opt/blackdonw-jdk-1.3.1/jre/plugin/i386/mozilla/javaplugin_oji.so: undefined symbol: __vt_17nsGetServiceByCID] (this was hand typed so there may be a mistake)
I would like to turn java back on inside Mozilla, so any help would be appreciated.
