with the sync and stuff, when i use firefox 0.8, it messes up and there are black lines around the flash objects on the webpages, but firefox 0.9 fixes this problem for me. If you have a problem with flash use firefox0.9. seems to fix it. but its not in portage yet. try it out all. _________________ Time to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and i'm all out of gum. |

I noticed that too. Firefox 0.9 fixes the flash problems, and is a lot better than older releases. Way faster.
Btw, its in portage under unstable. _________________ "The X server has to be the biggest program I've ever seen that doesn't do anything for you."

if you are using firefox, just go to a page with a flash animation, firefox will detect and install for you. |

That's what I've been doing, and it didn't work so I tried to do it manually. But it sill doesn't work. |

I'm not getting any kind of sound at all in any flash. However, all of the animations and the anti aliasing are working perfectly. |

Iv'e found that flash will not play sound with pure alsa enabled.
It works fine if the snd-mixer-oss module is inserted.
The only things that I use that had problems with this were vmware and the flash player :-/ |
