There's a lot of hype going around about the newest browser to come off of the Mozilla project. It's called Phoenix, and it's a standalone browser. No Email Client, Address Book, HTML Editor, Kitchen Sink, etc... It's extremely fast, lightweight and customizable. It's also got some great new GUI features.
Anyway, just wondering if we could get some of the fine Gentoo Developers to throw a Phoenix ebuild into portage.

PS - And while you're at it, how about Gnome System Tools?

https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=16368

the link for the ebuild as given on the first page is broken. goto the fourth page of the thread & u'll find a working link.

I wasn't asking for someone to post their own ebuild on some web page. What I was asking is for the Phoenix ebuild to be included in the Gentoo Portage Tree, so I can run an emerge phoenix and build it without having to hunt down the ebuild...

I would be surprised if any new ebuilds enter the tree before 1.4 is released.

I don't have any news, but that doesn't mean anything. I'm just a user like anybody else, and I don't even follow the gentoo mailing lists very regularly. About Gentoo 1.4... is still open, and feel free to wake it up if you would like to get some other opinions on this subject.
