I tried to gentoo working about a year ago and gave up, I may or may not have posted problems on the forum, I dont remember. about 3 weeks ago I decided to try again, I never posted a question on the forum, but did searches for other people who had simmilar problems, followed what they were told, and all 3 of my install problems were solved, all the way up to my desktop. I still have a slack box that I use, but i have tried Gentoo, and I like it

BTW I have a stage 3 install now, but i think that i know what i am doing now and will be trying a stage 1 soon, wish me luck.
