Not sure why, but I told SILO to install on hda4 and it also installed on hda1, so now I can't boot solaris from boot disk:a it just takes me back to silo. I would like to repair this but don't want to have to reinstall just to repair the bootsector.
I've gotten no response in the official Sun forums so I thought I'd try here. _________________ Inspiron 4100 & Sun UltraAXe

I got it partially working. I used the solaris installboot command:
Code: | installboot /usr/platform/sun4u/lib/fs/ufs/bootblk /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s0 |
Oddly this clobbered silo even on partition /dev/hda4 _________________ Inspiron 4100 & Sun UltraAXe
