I have gentoo on my workstation (1.2) and my laptop (1.4). QT Designer is installed on my 1.2 system, but not on my 1.4 laptop; and I can't find qt designer on the gentoo package list. Anyone know how to install it? |

It should already be there (assuming you have qt installed) but may not be sym linked try /usr/qt/3/bin/designer _________________ 01001010 01010100 01001000 01001010 |

I'm guessing that this qt designer is something that runs under X, so Installing -> Desktop Environments. _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |

Designer is supposed to be under /usr/qt/$VERSION/bin/designer. It's there on my system, and I've used it once or twice, also!
I have QT 3.0.5-r2 installed, if that matters.
I did a "qpkg -fp designer" and saw that QT had it, then did a "qpkg -l qt | grep -i designer" and found out where it was. I have a menu entry in WindowMaker for it, and never use the full path by hand, so I forgot where it was. |
